347 Design Build is a residential design and drafting practice based in Maine, providing design services for new homes, additions, and renovations.
My background spans residential design, construction, building science, project management, and hands-on building. That experience has given me an understanding of a project from multiple perspectives—from developing the initial concept and construction drawings to understanding how those decisions translate into the field.
Much of my professional experience has also been in high-performance residential construction, where thoughtful detailing, efficiency, and careful coordination are fundamental to the design process.
I started 347 Design Build to provide homeowners and builders with straightforward, practical design services backed by real-world construction experience.
Meet The Owner
Jesse Libby, Owner + Designer
Born and raised in Central Maine, Jesse Libby brings a background spanning residential design, construction, building science, and project management. He studied architecture and has worked across multiple sides of residential construction, from design and 3D modeling through fabrication, project management, and field operations. Much of his professional experience has focused on high-performance and energy-efficient homes, building an understanding of how thoughtful design, building science, and practical construction come together. Prior to his career in design and construction, Jesse served as a carpentry and masonry specialist in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. He founded 347 Design Build to provide practical, well-considered residential design and drafting services throughout Maine.
